I am having a problem with a 4 axis tutorial to I am trying to area mill a part, I select the machining region I use the automatic region selection, I set my paramaters correct as far as I can tell.  But when I generate the toolpath it says "all machining regions have no material remaining" I dont understand why its doing this and I am hoping someone can help me.  I included a link to the file so you can see what I am saying. (file is too big to upload)

You grabbed both chains to create island machining. That is the lack of intelligence in the Automatic Regions process. Change to picking one chain using the Machining Regions the face boundary only and go from outside and then the toolpath will process. I always do the preview chains before every getting out of the dialog if nothing shows stop and fix that before moving on. That said I would dumb the part down and make the 2 faces one and create one toolpath to cut both faces verse the broken up method done here.

Yeah that works it just leaves some of the material behind at the outside corners its not a big deal though I could just do a contour toolpath along the edge clean it quick. .  I think its just the part has an issue somewhere making automatic region on that section of the part impossible because automatic region worked on the flats next to the diameter.
