What Toolpath would you choose for this?

Recommended Posts

I have a part that looks like a trophy. I want to chamfer the base. this "trophy" part is mounted onto a 5th axis. I simply want to tilt the A axis forward 90 then bring down a chamfer tool and have the B axis rotate 360 and be done. I tried doing an axis substitution like I would do for 4th axis but this clearly wasn't the right choice. I would rather not use 5th axis Deburr due to bad past experiences. Other than that please let me know what the simplest way to accomplish this would be....beside writing by hand either
