Rotating part with mouse

Hi friends,

I am wondering if anyone has a trick up their sleeve for rotating Mastercam drawings. I'm familiar with the using the arrow keys with the Alt button and also using the mouse center wheel. The problem I'm having is I can't seem to rotate the view just a teeny tiny little bit. I can get a little more precision using the mouse, but I just can't seem to snap it exactly where I want. I'm wondering if it's the quality of my mouse or a setting maybe?

Are you not wanting to just view from the top? I can't really think of a scenario where skewing a flat drawing is needed.

If the drawing is not on a system plane, you could create a plane relative to some geometry in the drawing and use that for your top view?

Just a guess, but I'd say the OP is misusing the word "drawing." They, likely, mean whatever is on the screen.
