Help with Probing Software for Automation

good morning,

Does anyone use something besides Productivity + for probing solutions in Mastercam?  We are going into the realm of automation with a pallet system that we have and we cannot get Productivity + to convert our X axis to our Z axis.  We want to rotate our pallet 90 degrees and probe the bottom of the part.  We then want Productivity + to translate the probing direction (+ or - X) to the Z axis.  This way we do not have to remove the part to find Z0, which is the bottom of the part.  Any help or suggestions will be appreciated

We do this all the time. Productivity+ writes the "X" error to #140. Knowing that, you can now populate whatever Z axis offset you want.

Example - #5203 = #140 would write the X axis error to the Z axis common offset

The above would work on a fanuc controller.

All of the cycle outputs are listed in the Productivity+ manual.

I was approached with this and probing in Vericut today. Any insights? Easy to use? Training involved?

We're using it with Heidenhain controls and it just lists all the Heidenhain probing cycles. Combined with a Heidenhain manual it's self explaining.

I'm pretty happy with it, it does all of the stuff I need to do without any macro programming or modifying code.
