2024 Verify error

I posted this on the official forums, however with many being lucky to even log into that forum without seeing some sort of error I thought I would ask & post here also.

 

So are we now forced to do use the "Use selected external machine" instead of "Use machine definition"?
(Machine Definition Manager - General Machine Parameters - Simulation tab)
When I try to launch verify with the "Use Machine definition" checked, I get the error
"Cannot load the machine configuration files. Please check the configuration files for ."

If so this sucks. The lag that it takes to populate a preview of a machine that looks nothing like our actual machines is both annoying and worthless.

So the fix for this is to use the "5AxHeadHead" as the selected external machine. in 2023, the "Use machine definition" worked fine.
