Solidworks to MC problem

I have a problem inporting a Solid works file. It's a psudo-ellipticle concave bowl. When I open it with MC the surface (I don't have Solids) has a bad wrinkle in it. I can recreate it with a swept surface of 1/4 of it then mirror it twice but I've been told I have to use the original file. Any ideas as to whats causing this and how do I import a good surface.
