Oooohhhhh....

 

I don't have the sim here but I'll try...

 

Press the "trim" button.

 

Note there is a choice in the ribbon bar about breaking or regular trim. You'll take the regular option (default, I think)

 

One of the fields up top allows you to set a length. Mastercam automatically assumes you want to "extend" after you put a value in that field because if you were going to really trim something there would be no need for a length...

 

Try that out... Maybe not exact but should get you on the right path...
