Hi Stevie have you tried changing the tolerance to 1 (not sure on the math and exactly how it works) It has something to do with breaking splines, maybe someone can explain it more to me. It worked for me when I changed the tolerance to 1.0 so you might want to check that out, and maybe someone can explain it in more depth.

In the help files is says

quote:

Tolerance

This field is available only when you select a spline. It specifies the chord height tolerance you want to use when breaking the spline.

Chord height tolerance (distance) determines how closely the resulting segments fit the original spline. A smaller value results in a closer fit. A larger value results in a looser fit.

My steps were as follows:

Edit/Trim/Break Many Pieces

2 (for the number of breaks)

1 (for the tolerance)

Hope this works

To create a circle tangent to two entities:

Create Circle Edge Point, Enter a diameter or radius.

Turn on Tangent option.

Move cursor so one entity hightlights and clicks (but Autocursor is not "snapped" to any geometric point).

Move cursor to other entity and do the same.

You will see the full circle tangent to the two picked entities. Click on Accept.
