Howdy,

As a typical rule, I do all my drawing in Autocad (2000i), and I was wondering if when I import the dwg/dxf into MCX can I have my actual part countour in verify instead of the big square/rectangular box?

I would much rather see the part as a whole (including the stuff I am not machining) then just a whole here and pocket there....

Thad,

You can make a dummy Toolpath to cut the part from a rectangke block say with 1mm stock.

Turn the posting OFF for this toolpath.

Then run this Toolpath in Verify and save the Verified shape as a .STL file.

Now you have a .STL of your part with stock. You can use this for Verifying of your manufacturing Toolpaths.
