shortcut keys

I am not an icon person. I'm on the computer constantly and I try to limit my mouse clicks where I can. I feel this is better/faster than going thru menus.

I'm new to mcam. I would like to mirror all my shortcut keys (from smartcam) into mcam, so when I bounce back & forth between the 2 cad/cam packages certain events will be the same.

In one of the classes at the school where I teach there is a guy like that. Short Cut Keys ONLY. Boy are folks that are not open to doing things a different way going to be in for a rude awakening in a couple of years when all of the legacy DOS stuff disappears from ALL software. I know it's going to be tough for me too because when I'm in other software packages I am constantly finding myself using MCAM Hot-Keys to attempt other actions. He, He, He. Oh what fun. biggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gif

Here's what I do now, I have the buttons configured so that 90% of what I use on a regular basis is either 1 mouse click or a keystroke away. That makes things simple for me. About 75% of the time my mouse is only manipulating geometry the other 25% it's clicking icons. so my mouse travels a few more feet over the course of a day. It's a fair trade off I think.
