Set the Depth of cut

How can I change the Depth of Cut default value in the control parameter?

Right now I don't know where and how the dafault value was set and everytime I have a deffierent depth of cut for different tool.

Also if I make an edit. The depth of cut that I input changed by itself.

Can I set up in such a way that each time I called up individual tool and the depth of cut preset so that I don't have to change the value.

I think what you are looking for is under Machine types menu. Then control definitions and inside of that you will fine all of your operation defalts.

Do you have use tools step, peck, and coolant selected in the machine group properties?

Set your tools in your library with the definitions you want and then use tools, step, peck and coolant.

THANK YOU. I FOUND IT at Tool parameters... but

If I wanted to set 1/2" dia cutter finsh at .300" depth of cut.

How do I set: Rough xy step %

Finish xy step

Rough z depth

Finish z depth

 

I tried a couple of times its still not what I expected

How to insert picture into the message ??

you first have to create the image. I usually hit print screen. Then open the captured image in an photo editing program and crop or resize it. Then upload the image to a sharing site or ftp location, I think alot of folks here use hp's photobucket. THEN in your message hit the image button, and insert the http link to the uploaded photo.

 

If you right click on various photo's, you can get some ideas for sharing sites.
