Tool definition problem

Good Day All,

 

I hope can explain this correct. We created a new tool and saved it to the library(like many times before) but now when we call this tool up in the toolpath parameter page all the speed and feed information is there but, when we right click on the tool and view the edit tool page. there is no information on speeds and feeds tool tool and length dia offsets ect. the only thing that is filled in is the %of material speed and feeds. Which by the way will update the tool if we change the numbers? Any idea what we did wrong to not get the data into these fields...

I have never heard of this happening. Sounds like a corrupt tool, delete it and try again.

Go Navy...I have done this and had two two tools show up in my tool library. One is a blank like you stated and the other is the tool with all the correct info. I just go back and delete the old tool w/o the correct info. Have you looked to see if there are two similar tools?
