5 axis Drill Help

Doing my first five axis work, and I am stuck.. All I am trying to do is drill 8 holes all at different angles. I got a toolpath put my cutter is upside down, not sure if it is the post I am using or not.

I uploaded a file in the mcx_mr2 folder and it is named 5axisdrill.mcx.

I was wondering if someone can explain on what I am doing wrong.

Thanks

how are you selecting your geometry? If you're using points and lines, your points should be only at the bottom of the lines. In V9 we had problems if our holes were vertical (3 axis) it would try to do them upside down, so we would seperate the 3 axis holes from the 5 axis holes.

can't look at your file right. I'm blocked from the ftp at work.

We create point and lines with the line along the tool axis in a positive vector direction from the surface. The point HAS to be on the end of the line. When we select the geometry, we set it to points/lines and select the point only, the system will recognize the line.

Can't get to the FTP site, but I hope this helps.
