Hi Guys,

I need to put in a .060 wide x Ø.220 i.d. grv

in a part that needs to be .760 deep. I have a Ø.198 dia. hole. Doe's anyone in MC Lathe land know of any place that has solid carbide groove bars that would accommodate this? Micro-100's smallest is a min. hole of Ø.250.

Look in the PH Horn catalog. It's a German company that has really great micro I.D. stuff for lathes. They have a system that clamps their small tools that you can take out the boring bit and put it back in and bore a hole and it's within .0001 of the previous hole size.
