In Vaporware... it's at 2:19.704 if it's too blurry to see.

Second time through; 00:32.305 sec.

Same M6300 I've had for 17 months.

So for a comparison back around page 18;

quote:

X2 MR1 SP2 best number was 6:44

X3 PC2 best number 6:10 with for the first time through on my system.

:41 Sec with X3 PC2 second time through.

Still an inprovement. Granted only :34 sec, but an improvement is an improvement.

From 6:10 to 2:20. THAT is improvement.

Guessing that's the top time now. biggrin.giftongue.gif

I know. I could totally decimate everyone here, if i had any cash left for the hard drives.

But here are the Mac results!

Macbook 2.4 Ghz dual core, 4Gb DDR3 1066Mhz ram, 256Gb SSD, Leopard 10.5.7 running vmware fusion with win xp

9min 47sec. It did better than i thought for running in a virtual machine!

Steve, the only thing that may have changed since the last time I ran the benchmark was I added 2 more GB of RAM for a total of 4GB. That should NOT make that much difference.

One question about using the GeForce 9800 GTX+ video card. Should I change the config/screen graphics support settings to GDI? I currently have it set to "OpenGL" and the "Disable front buffer" box is ticked (settings used by my old Quadro FX1400).

A couple years ago when I got my current computer these were the spec's I posted in this thread.

quote:

6:02

HP xw8400 Workstation

Xeon 5160 @ 3Ghz

4Gb Ram

80G 10K RPM WD Raptor SATA HD

NVIDEA Quadro FX 4600

Dual View 20.1" LCD's

Today on the same machine, with X4, I get 2:42.

That's a savings of 3 minutes 20 seconds! Great job guys!!

Go back and read page 1 from 2007..

People were posting 10 and 11 minute times

like they were a good thing biggrin.gif

I think my old Dell crunched that file in 13 and change back in 07.

I think we were run X or X_MR1 back then
