Programming for mori NT series mill turn centers

Anyone programming with MC for these machines? (specifically NT5400) Looks like we are getting one. I am getting a quote from In-house for a post, and wanted to see what people here had to say about using MC and the the Mori NT's. Thanks!!

do a search for NT or millturn on this, there is some talk on it.

The NT is just like the E series Integrex and we use it for programming ours. If you read the thread I responded in early today you can see a sample of work easily programmed in Mastercam for these type machines.

 

With that said if I had Mastercam I would stay with Mastercam. If I was purchasing something new I would do some research and see what Partmaker, UG, or others have for programming these machines.

If it is only a upper spindle machine MC works very well with a nice post. If it has a lower turret, MC cannot efficiently place wait/sync codes wich really slows down the process.
