Math fields in the Advanced Multiaxis toolpaths and support for WCS.

+10000000000 kunfuzed on the support for WCS in the Advanced Multi-Axis toolpaths. Basically anywhere you see an axis label in those toolpaths it is referring to the original system origin not the WCS you created.

How about tool holders that stay with the tool instead of the operation. If I use tool #5 in ten different operations, I need to select the holder for that tool in every operation. I should only have to select the holder once for each tool, per machine group.

Also a library that reflects actual manufacturers specs like Kennametal and Lyndex and others. I realize it takes two to tango on that though.

It would be very nice to be able to define geometry specifically as stock for tool paths like Dynamic milling so that you could use pre drilled holes in pockets and/or rough a majority of a pocket out with a larger tool and then go back in and rough the rest with a smaller tool.

 

I know that there is a 2D rest mill but uhh.....

 

Maybe a Dynamic Milling specific rest mill?

I'd settle for fix WCS issues (5 ax toolpaths, solid layout, analyze dynamic...ect), fix OP manager regen and parameter issues, holders stick to tool all paths (all new tree type), work on bugs very hard, 64 bit version code....and NO NEW TOOLPATHS till those are completed.

X5 is not a secret, CNC was demoing X5 at the Tech expo earlier this month...

And maintenance will be reduced due to the extended time between releases? I completely agree with extended testing after all the issues with the relase of X4, I just can't see continuing maintenance and not getting what I was told (promised) from my dealer...

I'm interested in Beta testing, but I was under the impression that I'd need a full blown seat to participate. Although I have experience with 3 axis, 3+2, and 5 axis work, I am currently at Mill Level 1 with Solids. Am I mistaken about needing the full seat, or am I eligible at my current level?
