3D cutting test.

Dose anyone have a simple 3D part they use for testing 3D tool paths? We have 4 different machines with 4 different controls and we are working on tweaking our settings to try and get the most out of are equipment. I have seen the “Mercedes” test part but don’t have a file or anything for it. All the files we have in house are large and complex for just quick testing. I was just wondering if anyone had any kind of standard test part they could offer up. Thanks.

IMO it would be best for you to create the test file using your standard tooling and operations that you use most often.

what we did was a generic shape like what we would usually cut , at say 20 IPM then would xxxxm it up and increase feed rate until it would not follow the path anymore.
