MULTUS POST ISSUES

Hi,

We have a Multus B-400W, & a In House Solutions post, the original post we were sent was locked & horibly wrong!!!!

We got a new one & there was only a small portion locked.

Our main issue is the new post is not helical milling correctly, it is using G1 instead of G2/G3.

All the settings are correct in the Control definition Screen.

If we run the same file with the original .pst &.psb file the prog comes out correctly but the X&Z were the wrong way around.

Has anyone got any ideas on how I can fix this, we have left messages with our reseller but he usually take a week or two to get back to us, I need help sooner!!!!

If you can access this section of the post we can turn off the linarc function, Also remember that the machine def needs to have arcs set to "Break at quadrants" and using R not IJK

Try this one changes are marked #GHW

pcir0$ #Pre-circular interpolation postblock

code:

 pcir0$           #Pre-circular interpolation postblock

pmap_plane

if posttype$ <> two,

[

preset_mod

pshft_map_xc

if y_axis = zero & millcc = zero,

[

linarc$ = zero

#Set linarc, breakarcs and cir_at_zero

if fmtrnd(xca) = zero & fmtrnd(yca) = zero,

[

#Set breakarcs and cir_at_zero

breakarcs$ = zero

#C axis move

if mach_plane = zero,

[

cir_at_zero = one

czero_csav = csav

]

#Arc output

if mach_plane = two, cir_at_zero = m_one

]

if cuttype = 4, linarc$ = one ##GHW

#if cir_at_zero = zero, linarc$ = one

]

if plane$ <> 0, linarc$ = one

]

if cuttype = -2 & not(millcc), linarc$ = 0 #GHW WAS linarc$ = one 03-11-08

#if cuttype = 6, linarc = one #no arc support on tilted planes - now using G127

!ynci$

This will give ya

Thanks very much Greg, I do have access to that area of the post & have made the same changes that you have, I'll give it a try on Monday, but it's looking very promising cheers.gif

j4snk, we would gladly edit your post, but it has never been purchased or binned to anything other a dealer sim? If your reseller is so slow to get back to you why would you not contact In House Solutions directly?
