What Size Monitor are you using?

One 22" widescreen (Gateway FPD2275W TFT LCD. If it were my choice I would have two of them. While were at it, I'm startin to have a hankerin for a space pilot.

Tried twin 22's last week, but not sure i was that keen on it. Alot more mouse and neck movement required, and for what i do, thinking it was possibly overkill.

 

Would love to try a single 27-30"...

Best money ever spent IMO. I love my space navigator, and thinking of upgrading to the pilot.

Good question to ask. Space is always a big consideration when we are designing interfaces. So far it looks like 1/3 of users are still running on a single monitor standard resolution monitor.

Mick you never know these days you could really do it.

At work I run a 30" and it looks like are other ME might not be coming back so I was looking at taking his 30" and doing dual monitors but the issue now is desk space to hold 60" of monitor.

 

I have the Quadro 4800 with 1.5 gig of ram, I would think it would run them.

I'm using two HP 22" Wide screen LCD's on dual Quadro FX1700 GPU's (both screens on a single card caused intermittent interference on the second display).

I thought two screens would have been nice, now I wonder how I ever got by with one screen.

My right screen displays the MasterCAM graphics window, the left screen displays all the toolbars, operations manager, level manager, Cimco editor, Excel, Tutorial videos and other supporting software as needed.

Just added a second 22" widescreen at home and wow, what a difference. I hope I never have to go back to using a single monitor. 1680 x 1050 res. If only I could get work to loosen up some funds and get me the same setup there.

Is it possible to reset or restart this poll?

Last year when this poll took place I mentioned to my boss about maybe getting me a dual setup.

 

He said it was not the right time with the economy etc.

I think the time is right, I would like to know what people out there are using today. given that the price of these things are dropping out of the sky!

they are simply amazing, my eyes aren't burning anymore due to the screen that always flicker
