I just wanted to thank everyone for their input. My software provider sent me some info without my asking...I guess this problem has been common. Basically, because I have a 64 bit OS I needed to run both the x64 and x86 files from the "Common" file folder.

If anyone is having this same problem, I can forward them the e-mail I was sent to open the correct folders and files to run.

Thanks again to all. Now I need to learn how to draw wire frames : ) I'm sure the learning curve will be steep, but I have the book and I'm ready to roll.

"I will admit that I am heavily bias towards anyone who makes guitars, and will offer them help on ANYTHING"

Ditto that. Hard to imagine anything cooler than that, especially if you play. (Maybe Sam Adams Brewery.) Craftsmanship, skill, art, function and a love of music all rolled into one. I've often wondered what it would be like to work in a high end custom shop that makes guitars and basses. Even better still, watching a customer crack a wide smile as he opens the case for the first time.

Oh well, back to the thankless tool making.

Yeah for the guitars! I didn't know so many here were doing that stuff. Here's one I did a couple years ago before I knew much about solids. At the time, I couldn't figure out how to draw the neck like I wanted it so I ended up carving it by hand. I can't begin to explain how much better solid modeling is for designing stuff like this. By all means jump in to the solids as soon as you are able!
