Solidworks mastercam direct

I just tried to import a cad model from Solidworks. I used Mastercam Direct button and it loaded Mastercam. But, the part model has all sorts of errors in it. There is extra geometry that shouldn't be there. I got hole circles completely off the part. But, when I just load the SLDPRT into Mastercam it looks fine. The only thing is I don't get the Solidworks features. So, I can't suppress a piece of geometry and have to work at it in a different way.

I havnt found much use for Mastercam Direct. I simply merge the Solid Part File into Mastercam. If you have trouble with that save the Solid Part File as a Parasolid(X_T) and Merge that. If your needing Solidworks Construction Geometry do a Save as IGES.Double check in the options button that import condtruction geometry is selected.
