X4 MU2 poor graphics

I have been using X4mu2 with my gt8600 card and the graphics suck.

If I open x3 and x4 with the same file X3 graphics are nice!

So I thought a new video card would be a nice upgrade, bough a fx 580 and its no better.

Windows Vista 64 all eye candy off.

Is there a default setting in X4mu2 that might be doing this.

I have changed every thing I can find

I don't want to wait a year for new update. firebounce.gif

I have the samo problem in X4MU2 on Win7 with Quadro Fx 1500. When I draw lines or arcs I get all kind of graphic trash on screnn (white squares, toolpaths used to be on screen....)

What would be the best setting for Nvidia card, or where would i get the configuration for nvidia control panel settings!

For what its worth, I had some graphics issues with a new 9800gt. It started after I applied a service pack to Solidworks 2009. MC graphics got crappy and I played with with the Nvidia control panel setting for a few hours with marginal results. I chalked it up to the card. At a later date, I applied the update on a different machine, with a different card, same thing happened. Reloaded the OS and MC, no Solidworks or any other apps for that matter, and it RAN GREAT with the default driver settings. It was good to know that MC, WinXP, and the 9800gt got along fine.
