I will add a new tool sheet example with the next release.

It will demonstrate how to  convert the standard layout into a new custom layout.

That layout looks amazing.  Is that possible with 2019?

That worked great, but I lost the lines separating all the fields.  Is that something I did differently, or is something different in the script?

The script shouldn't have any effect on that. Sounds like a .css issue. Is all of your formatting completely gone?

I'll take a look at your .js file if you want to send it to me.

If anyone else happens to have a similar brain-fart....I didn't know you also had to make an identically named copy of the .css

Just to clarify...

X+ already has a default.css and default.js file that is used for your setup sheet. If you want to use my .js file to rename your column headers, save it to the location of the existing .js file and name it default.js. And you're done!

If you'd like, you can rename your original .js file something like default.js.old or default.js.original, or whatever.

PLEASE NOTE:  If you already have some javascript functionality in your default.js, then DO NOT overwrite it with my renaming script. My script will have to be MERGED into your existing code. If you overwrite your old code, your old functionality will be gone.

There ya go, that's a better explanation. 😎

Yes, this will be the new dialog for 2020 (release).

  • added 8 more edit boxes for the header.
  • added 1 comment box (multi line).
  • added 2 tabs (header/parameter)

Can you show us an example of how the comments in the comment box will be displayed once the setup sheet is generated?
