sorting arcs

I have 450 arcs (holes) spread over 10 BCD's. I need to run 3 tools on each hole. (2 contour ops, 1 drill op)

 

I would like each tool to start at the outermost BCD then machine in CW direction then

step over to the next smaller BCD then machine in a CW direction and so on and so on.... all nice/neat

and orderly.

 

I create a new operation...window all arcs....set start point, then go to Chain Mngr, sort options, rotary sort.

 

I cannot get these tools to run in any orderly fashion .... What am I missing?

Not got the time to work out exactly what you are after, but in the Chaining Options window ("!" button at bottom of chaining dialog box), you can set a chaining order for closed chains. The default option is "based on cursor position" but you can change that to CW or CCW. HTH
