Lathe canned cycles not posting

Hey Guys,

I'm using the canned cycles for lathe roughing and I'm getting long hand code not canned cycles.

I went looking in the post and I didn't see any switches that I though would enable or disable this function. Do you guys have any ideas?

 

I found this:

lathecc      : 0     #Flag for canned turning cycle type
                    #1 = G71/G72 rough cycle
                    #2 = G73 pattern repeating cycle
                    #3 = G74/G75 groove cycle
                    #4 = Finish pass for types 1 and 2
                    #Neg.=rough and finish, Pos.=rough only

 

Does this have anything to do with it?

go into the control def and on subprograms click it on.

I never would have figgured that one out.

 

How do they figgure some one could relate subprograms to canned cycles?
