Restarting on a Mazak

Can someone tell me how to restart an EIA program on a Mazak? On my old Haas I would just go to the line in the program in edit mode and then it would restart from there once I put it in Memory but on this Mazak when I put it in memory it goes back to the beginning.

Did you try single block in memory ?

Then search forward ?

Go to EIA monitor, scroll down to the line you want to start on (or a safe restart line, like you'd do on a Fanuc control), hit RESTART2 NONMODAL, then hit cycle start. If you need to skip around int he program, you do it the same way. Just leave it in memory, scroll to where you want to jump, and hit RESTART2 NONMODAL. It's the far right soft key.
