Operations Note

Can I pull the operation note from the same place the Operations Manager is getting it from? For example the Operations Manager has Surface High Speed (Area clearance) but when I post it says MULTISURFACE FINISH. I would like the post to use the same description as the Operations Manager if that is possible.

Im no post wiz, but I just struggled thru doing the same.... I used "tool_op$" instead of "opcode$", snagged the extended tool_op list from the NCI reference (pg 141), and made it into a string select table.

 

Note that the canned cycles are not in there, also, I had issues with Tool_Op$ 18, which is listed as "Version 8", but I had "Circle Mill" ops returning that.

If you want to use the exact name for the 3D HST operations, the post parameter 12628 will work:
