keeping same work offset

How do I keep the same work offset for all tool wend changing planes in 4 axis

You should be able to change them in the WCS view manager. Change the -1's to 0's for each WCS

This is how I do it, Works Great ! You can do it as you are creating the OPS or right click on the Operations and Edit Common Parameters--->Planes. Make sure you use the same offset number starting at 0 for G54, and select update just this operation.

Thank you for the invite and for the help. I already tried the 0 in the WCS and wend I post it I get a warning (0 – Work offset number used in more than 1 view) so I did not think it was right because I do not have any trouble with 5 axis.

there is a way to lock on the first offset. It's a setting in the Misc toolpath settings:

"Lock on First WCS [0=No,1=Yes]"

 

there is also a way to flip a switch in the .pst file.

It's just informing you that you chosen to have one offset for multiple views, or rotations if you will. That's OK, just click ok and your post should code out with only one G54 for all rotations.

Just keep WCS the same for all views and change T and C plane for every wiew you need. It doesn't meter what kind post you use.
