Mastercam and Windows 8

Hey guys,

Any one have issues with MC crashing upon startup with Windows 8?

 

I'm working remotely on my laptop and it keeps crashing, I was working last night but now it won't start.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

The first thing I would try is to delete ( or move) the config file and let MC generate a new default one

The splash screen comes up and then it gives me a warning about referenced files not being in the right location. Then it generates an error report.

Any idea why that happened?

 

This also seems to happen often. I will work on the file at home transfer the file to the computer at work and then make the programs remotely. Sometimes when I close the MC at home and then try to open it at work is states that the mill license is unavailable then I try to get it back at home and it gives me the same message. I have to get the license server restarted for it to let go of the license.

 

Any ideas how to get this to stop?

Ok it's still doing the same thing.
