Hi all.

I'm getting an "ERROR-THE TOO; CAN NOT BE POSITIONED WITHIN MACHINE ROTARY LIMITS" error.

After I OK the error, it posts the folllowing.

A90.

I'm getting the A120. in the second op. If I post them separately, both ops post A ~90.

A 120. is the limit.

I know it's something simple. I just can't see the forest for the trees.

Please help

Thanks,

Keith

Thanks for the reply.

The problem I'm seeing is the A axis should be ~90. for both cuts. I can't figure where the A120. is coming from. It should be a simple tilt A to 90. make the cut, retract, rotate B to 180 and cut the other end.

Sounds like the A axis isn't resetting in the post, did you try using force tool change? Are you using two seperate toolpaths? Using force tool change in the tool parameters page will get most posts to reset the A & B axis.

Another thing you can try is forcing a pos or neg solution in the misc values. Depending on the post you should be able to do this for the primary and the secondary axis.
