I just turned on mi10, and this gives me basically what I need... for now.

We are jumping clamps, I'm using the Tabs option, but sometimes we need to send Z home and move X,Y out of the way for access to some of the clamps, that's why I was using Manual entry.

By force toolchange, do you mean a dummy tool change?

Not tons of editing just need to decide how you want to invoke the method. You are using the mi10 per operation so if you did as force tool change at the next operation it would send the post what is need to do call the tool change part of the post. That would then go through the ending of the tool section of the post calling all the stuff needed to send it home like a normal tool change then all the start of a tool change part of the post. Now if you are wanting this in the middle of an operation and are using the cantext method then yes you would need to modify the post. If you are using the mi10 and do not want to call a tool change then yes you will need to modify the post. Hopefully that was clear enough and you can decide what you want to do from there.

If you want to modify the post you can contact your dealer 1st and then if you decide you want to tackle it then let us know and we will see if we can help.

I'm not new to modding posts, I'm just not the best at it :p

The move isn't in the middle of an op, it's more or less in-between ops with the same tool. I'm just sending the table and spindle out of the way so we can move clamps around and machine where the clamps were. But in this case, the mi10 does the job since the size of the part doesn't require moving the table 25" so that the operator doesn't have to climb in the machine to reach the clamps lol.
