Surface Finish Flowline

Good morning,

 

im working on a part that has unique angles, making it tough to get a bull mill to cut in a single pass. I'm trying to figure out how can i make depth cuts using the surface finish flowline. Appreciate your help and happy holidays.

1st off, are you are there is a Surface Rough Flowline?

 

2nd, If you're trying to do depth of cuts with the finish path, create the finish path, then copy it and change it to leave the stock on conditon

 

1st pass might have .05 stock on

2nd pass .025 stock

last pass would have 0 stock

alright sounds good i will try to create that toolpath. by the way, is there an actual way to create depth cuts on finish without having to copy the previous operation?

NO, it's a finish path, not designed for depths of cut
