Stock is in the wrong place.

Hey all,

 

I am using Mastercam X6 and I keep encountering the same problem with the stock, particularly when the shape is a cylinder. I am trying to make my stock cylinder shaped, along the Y axis and centered in the Y axis. The problem is that I want my Z Zero to be the top of cylinder, and I can place that in and even the stock wireframe shows it in the correct position, but when I actually go to verify, the stock is centered on the Z axis. I can't get it to show the stock where I actually want it to be. Any suggestions?

This is how ive been doing it for a couple years now.

Every once in a while the stock moves around in verify, I just reselect my stock model and it goes back to where it should have been.

In options in verify (folder with red exclamation point) you can change it to what you need. IDK why it doesn't always pick up the stock set up values correctly.

I had the same problem but the fix is to go to settings

configurations

scroll down to verify settings un check "Center On Axis"

this will fix it.

Look at the date before answering the question. If two years has passed I'm willing to bet they stopped looking for the answer over a year ago.
