Help with Simple solid

Hi

Need help. It's been awhile since I've needed to use solids for any actual machining, but we have a part that has features on 2 sides, and I'd like to see if I can create a quick Negative (Positive?) of the part to make a quick fixture.

Boolean >> Remove

 

Select the first solid which will be the one that has the featured removed, then the 2nd body which is what will be removed

 

Providing you don't have any overhangs or left over unattached pieces, it should remove the solid shape fro the body
