X7 verify compare stock

Is there a way to get the compare STL file to stick? Every time I select new tool paths and verify them it closes the compare window and I have to re-select the file I want to compare. I am NOT closing the verify window in between. I am working on a fairly large file and I have to wait a long time to select the STL when re-doing tool paths. It's starting to become a time waster. I can't seem to find any settings to get this to stick.

Greg: We do not at this point have a way to have a defaulted external .stl, the default state is to use the workpiece (whatever is displayed in Mastercam when entering Verify) as the default item to compare. I will add a request on your behalf to allow this to be defaulted.
