50 Taper Endmill holders

Can anyone suggest a company that makes an extended set screw style endmill holder for Sizes under 3/8  (1/8, 3/16, 1/4, 5/16)  for CT50.  We usually buy command holders but they only make a stubby/standard length holders under 3/8.   We are looking for about 4.5".   Thanks

Mic6.  those would work and cover all the sizes.   Just a little pricey at $4-500

 

Pilot.   I just looked quick and only saw 1/4" and 5/16" which helps but still need 1/8 and 3/16

Maritool has good prices ($150 to $174 for a Cat50 solid holder, really cheap for American made), but their Cat50 selection is pretty limited.  They might be able to do you a custom for less than someone else's stock part though, it never hurts to ask.

When I get that small, I use  ER collet holders. I have some Lyndex ER 16 and ER20 that are 15" long.

We use collets alot also but sometimes we need clearance and the collet nut is to large.

I would suggest bite the bullet and buy shrink holders. Long and thin as you like and run true and solid.

We just bought a load of their tooling and we're in the UK!

At the moment we are looking are Pioneer.  Appears to be very good quality and a reasonable price.  And they offer a very wide range of sizes and lengths.  Thanks for the help

+1 maritool. I use them and prefer them. I also have one of their tram bars. It's dead nuts.
