Cimco DXF export

I'm exporting a toolpath from Cimco Edit backplot. My NC file is only 100kb, but when I export the dxf, Cimco acts like it's frozen, but the DXF file keeps getting bigger. It's currently a 2GB dxf. (!) Has anybody seen this before? I just used DXF export last week and it worked fine.

What version of Cimco Pro are you using? I see you Maintenance is still good so download the latest version  7.55.05

i'm actually using the free version that comes with HSM Express for Solidworks, as it includes the backplot ad-in

but your company owns a full version as you are Race face Bicycles correct. I do not know what version is shipped these days with that. but I just checked on the license for Race face Bicycles.

Does V8.05.10 still have this feature? I cannot find it anywhere. I have the Pro version of the software.

Look in the lower corner of the software window to see if has your company name or licensed to Mastercam user world wide.

Company name of course. I found the .dxf export but it created a 21MB file. I have a ticket in with out reseller and will await their response about that.

Calc is an add-on you are correct. Ron has a special license.

Ok well I cannot send you a msg explaining. I am asking for the company named in the lower right corner when the editor is sold under so I can check the licenseing to make sure you did not get the wrong license.

Did you know I spent the last few years as tech support for Cimco?
