creating arcs

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I am on version X8 (wire EDM) and need to wire a lot of holes in a mold cavity. The way I am doing it now is I have created wire thread points for a series of holes on a level by themselves. Then I create another set of thread points on a different level that will have a different diameter.....so forth and so on. In all its close to 100 holes of 4 different diameters, each diameter is on a level by itself. Now that I have all my thread points created, I turn off all but one level: create arc-circle center point-select my thread point and give it a diameter.

Is there a way to select all the points on that level and give a diameter and create arcs  with just a few keystrokes rather than selecting each individual point?

Thanks guys for your help!

Mark

Pts2Arcs is not part of the std. install.

~~~~~~~~~~~~`
My fault ,Roger .
I always download all the c-hooks at the istall time
BTW why this is still a c-hook and not a command of standart install.
I use it all the time.
Move it to the standart set and you will see how people would like to use it.
Same for  the Arcmultiedit.dll c-hook .
Best regards
Pts2Arcs
ArcMultiEdit
PrmDef
VHelix
ZSpiral
Are all scheduled to be included in the std. install in the next major release.
Hey Rickster, what is "Thee Circle"?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`

Thee circle was a a movement in the days of the big flame war  on the Forum .

That was a time when I became without brains kinda idiot  for the  same  reason .

It was a protest for  the  lack of justice in some of decisions of former moderators ,

So you can consider Thee   Circle as  Tea Circle sort of Tea Party.

This is Hush-hush secret of the forum kinda dead body in the locker.

Everyone knows and noone will tell you

any plans on adding chooks to the mastercam interface instead of external chooks

when training showing finderoverlap as a chook is confusing as it is an extremely useful function and should be on the edit menu
