Turret Recovery operation on a ROBODRILL

Hey guys

 

need some help here , I have no experience with our Robodrill and when it was fired up today it pulled up a EX1012 alarm code , according to the manual you have to perform a turret recovery operation . the operating last running the machine shut it down in between a tool change so the z axis was in a tool change position and is now stuck .

 

any help to help this Robodrill newbie out would be much appreciated

Go to quick nc button. Go to maintenance/setting, then do turret restore(1). Then follow the directions on the screen

found the page and restored the turret , the last operator hit the E Stop , he got a good ear full from the boss over it .

As I recall, the Robodrill will also alarm out if it toolchanges to an empty magazine position.

Not all our Robodrills will alarm when changing to an empty tool pocket so this must be parameter or keeprelay controlled or a sensor in some Robo's and not in others.

This is one thing I love about the Haas.  If there's an ATC fault, like if I hit "reset" while it was moving, all I have to do is hit a couple buttons to run the automatic recovery routine.

You can also back up your sram in there if I recall.
