Well, it really depends on how you learn....some people do ok with books, some online, some live teacher....

 

But, the hosts of this forum In House Solutions offers training books, as well as others, there is Streaming Teacher as well as your reseller being a resource for training.

You can also practice Google fu and find plenty. YouTube is also abundant of people sharing lessons and techniques.

Jayson Kramer in Santa Clarita does a lot of training on Mastercam. There are also colleges or high schools that do training in the area.

Thanks Todd, all ready talked to him last month. The training was a little more then he wanted to spend. Art did you go to my Youtube page and watch the video on using WCS?

 

Art used to use Mastercam years ago and was a long time user on this forum years ago. Also they are using a older version of MC I thing X6 or X7 so you know.

are the first part is easy. file open and then when the box opens to pick the file go to the lower corner and there is a drop down for types of files. Select Step to bring in. Next would be Dynamic WCS or Dynamic Xform.

i just spoke  Cad/ Cam consulting services and they told me that they do not support x7 of mastercam.
