mastercam .nc file to WinPC-NC usb: not working

Hello all,

I recently purchased a Heiz high-z router which included ConstruCAM 3D and WinPC-NC USB. I soon realized that Mastercam is much better than ConstruCAM so now I'm learning to use it.

Though, after opening Mastercam .NC files in WinPC-NC, it reads the code, draws the path, but it doesn't execute it (after executing the file, it instantly "ends" and of course the machine does nothing). I have no idea why.

Please if any of you has experienced a similar problem or use such CAM / control software combination, I'd be grateful to recieve any advice.

Try making a simple program in both and compare the actual NC code files they spit out.

See if there may be some command at the end of the WinPC-NC file that triggers the machine to execute that is missing in the MC output.

A friend of mine has a router with WinPC. It detests any form of comment. Mcam is generous with the (comments) so my first attempt would be removing all comments.
