Hi could anyone help please twice now once on the od and now the id I have run into problems trying to run a finish pass were the tool must dig in along the diameter. I have changed the entry angle and tool angles and know these movements are possible. for example i'm doing a 3.476 id diameter and wish to travel at 2 degrees to a 3.544 id diameter my 431 cnga bar has plenty of clearance to achieve this movement but no mater what I try it wont, it just cuts straight. The od movement was only .002" for an undercut on the od. Is there a setting i need to turn on these are finish passes forms turned soft and h/t then trying to skim one pass hard to finish.

i see them but which one do i select for boring an id? they all look like od settings. the part already has the finished form in it im just skimming it in the hard state so taking out like a few thousands.

i used bobcad in the past and you simply select the line and as long as your tool has clearance it made the tool path for you. thanks for the response was very fast.
