Mastercam 2017 graphics issues.

I have played like 4 minutes of a free game that came with it.  Graphics are impressive but I am keyboarding and it just sucks.

What was the game?

My biggest issues with graphics are that I can't see single drill points when camera  is looking directly along Z. I wish there was a yellow 'X' or something. Only if I drill two or more points, the yellow rapid feed lines indicate which points are used. Another one is (again) in backplot: the cutting geometry and the non-cutting geometry are shown in the same color. Only when I rotate the camera slightly, the outline of the shank become visible.

Anyone know a fix to these?

We've got 4 workstaions running MC2017  with k4000 cards with no issues

EDIT

K4000's run hot and we've had a couple of them get too hot and fail,

but they ran MC2017 fine while they lived

If they run that hot, I'd be looking into a waterblock to keep them cool.

Or maybe at the very least MSI Afterburner to adjust the fan curve so the fan does more work?

K5200 for the win.  :harhar:

I haven't had a single issue with this card. No matter the model size it runs flawlessly. And the temp stays in check. My next laptop will have this card as well.
