toolpath simulation using solid body- mastercam 2017

can you show me how to use the solid model to verify my toolpath without going back to stock set up and do it there . On older version it very is easy .

is there other way to do it now on 2017 . I know there is a new function call stock model , but where is it that option to switch betwwen STL file and SOLID ?

just to the right of the verify button is a backplot settings button. click it, mid ways down click the solid radio button then click the solid on your screen. now click verify. you can also pick a level with fixtures to check for collision as well.

Right Click and up the top are your attributes.

 

Highlight the solid..... Right click and select Solid Color....Choose the color you want.

yes I can change color for the whole  solid body but I can't do for Solid face only , every time I  click the whole solid is high light .
