Solids turning transparent

So not a Guru

I have a job that came in as all surfaces. I had to create solids from surfaces (multiple parts). Then I copied & moved them to different locations. Now everytime I select a solid, all of the solids on the screen go transparent! Their edges are still visible, so I can manipulate them, but it's irritating. Also, now my Stock setup won't show as a solid, show as wire works, but not as solid.

I tried shutting everything down & restarting winders, but no joy.

Anyone got a clue of what is causing this?

This is freaking nuts. I created a surface from one of the solids & analyze shoes its color to be 138, but it is not, it's the same gray color the solids are AND it goes transparent when selected.

I've used model prep to remove all history & clear all colors. Nothing seems to fix it. On top of that, as is usual, my reseller doesn't return calls either.

:help:

Translucency is giving me all kinds of issues in 2017. It seems to affect the Hide (Alt + E) command especially. It will not let you hide surfaces. They seem to be displayed even when not selected. I've had to switch to turning levels off, and creating more levels, to deal with my geometry.

Same here.  I find a total reboot fixes it.  I had associated this to my graphics card... it never does it at home.

How are you Colin?  Get all moved and settled in?
