If I didn't just get a new computer a year ago for Mastercam, I'd definitely buy an AMD ThreadRipper build.

Unfortunately our computer is going to fail any moment now. I found some test articles (Autocad and Solidworks) stating that the 7700k would be a better choice.

I have not had the time to read everything that was written. But I am on a laptop with m4000 Card in it. Windows 10 has been updating my video drivers with out me knowing. This was causing a ton of crashes. The stupidest things would cause it to crash, like resizing a window. Ever since I got the laptop down graded to a 2016 driver. And then stopped windows 10 from auto updating my drivers. My system has been solid as all hell. And this with 150+ meg files.
