Expanding arbor/mandrel

I have a part that I think will be run through the our Integrex's

It's all milling out fo 1.25" 6061, except for a through bore .352" +.002/.000........

I am thinking if I can find an expanding collet, I can get this entire part in the main spindle....transfer it to the arbor and then just clean up the backside...

I would need about a 1" length to hold by......

Am I crazy thinking I can get something this small? I have been looking and not come across much yet....

Thoughts?

I can't share the part ITAR.....

Just now, Matthew Hajicek™ - Conventus said:

Roll yer own.  Turn the OD, drill, tap, and sink for a flat-head screw, then slit it.  When you put in the screw and tighten it the mandrel will expand.

This would be something I would need to actuate on its own via the sub-spindle.....

Short run, I agree....this is going to be in the xx,xxx's per/yr for the next 5-7 years
