Does Mastercam 2018 Beta need to be uninstalled to install Mastercam 2018 Production Candidate 1 Web?

That is the recommend process to remove it all the way down to the registry.

I'm kinda liking that they aren't giving the posts to you anymore with the stock install. I have so many backed up post files it was becoming hard to keep track of them.

Yes you must download them separately, but they are offering more posts like they did in the V9 and previous days. Not as many, but a good selection.

Should we delete the Libraries \ Documents \ shared Mcam2018 folder as well before installing the new release?

I always do, but others don't. I have renamed my 1st Beta folder and been placing the updated files in there through each Beta Cycle. For the official release I will use the latest process to update everything to 2018. Normally takes 10-12 hours to get everything worked out and sorted for each release. Time you updated over a 100 machines for machine sim, posts, MMDs, CMDs, tool libraries, op defaults, and MT machines it adds up.
