Parasolid, X_T or X_B is the format of choice for Mastercam.

Mastercam solids run on the parasolid kernel

Different formats of the same kernel

X_B is a binary file

X_T is a text file, drop one in your text editor and see

The results are the same, though X_B is marginally faster with complex models
